I am a theologian, poet, journalist, news and political junkie, lover of all media and seeker of justice. I love singing and living near the Pacific Ocean and the big trees. I am not good with gardening, but I love gardens. I love Buddhism, but I am not a Buddhist. I finally came to believe that the world is far too sacred for the human mind to comprehend the meaning of things. This is all very important to me.
I have said that If I had more patience, I would be a quilt maker. I love the tension created between a quilt pattern and the quilting stitches. While on my way to now, I have become an encaustic painter, using copious dots and shapes to make my paintings. I call them mantras.
